I usually add more vegetable amounts once I get cooking! I may also add more olive oil and butter if I think the sauce is not juicy enough. I usually put a lid over the veggies once they are simmering, and that adds to more veggie juice also.Pasta Prima Vera1/3 c. olive oil1/3 c. butter2-4 cloves garlic minced1/4-1/2 c. chopped onionSaute these items for 5-7 minutesAdd:1 c. sliced mushrooms5-6 chopped tomatoes1 -2 cups broccoli floretsSimmer with lid on until veggies are done to your liking (not too mushy)Serve over linguine. The Secret Chicken Marinade Recipe
1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 t powdered ginger
2T White wine vinegar
1T light karo syrup
1 clove garlic minced
4 Chicken Breasts
2 peppers (red, green or yellow) sliced into large chunks
8 oz. mushrooms
1 onion chopped into large chunks
Put first 6 ingredients in a blender and blend until well mixed. Pour over chicken and veges in a sealed freezer bag and marinate overnight in refrigerator. Grill on medium heat for 10 minutes per side of chicken.
